Question of the week:What are four kinds of things libraries are doing with Facebook?

1. Look at some library Facebook pages and give examples.
Wow! Libraries are using there facebook pages to really connect with their patrons. Not only are they lng library events and book features but posting facts about community history, newletters, inspirational messages regarding reading and libraries but fun puzzles and riddles. My library is only open 20 hours a week and I try to post on our page at least twice a week. I have used our page to do a "word of the day" to help high schoolers improve vocabular for ACT prep. I aslo used it to keep the kids involved in our summer reading program up to date on our mascot gnome's travel to the west coast. Tere are so many ideas I can't wait to "borrow" them.
